The subjects dealt with are very diverse: organization of asylums (including considerations on the pensions of caregivers), experimental research (long article on the toxicity of the urine of the insane. ), or description of clinical cases. Such as this article on a mental patient held by his parents in a 1 cubic meter cage in a village in the Pyrenees against a background of superstitious beliefs.

Among the contributors are some great names in psychiatry of the time: Cullère, Brissaud, Bourneville.
